It’s that time of year where every app wants to hand you a ranked list of your own behavior, so I did it to my closet before some algorithm could do it for me. Unscientific, slightly embarrassing, fully accurate.
#5 — the jeans I “rediscovered”
Reentered rotation in October. Not new, just forgotten for four months, the way a song is forgotten until it’s suddenly your whole personality for a week.
#4 — the sandals still in rotation past their season
Should have retired weeks ago. Currently sitting at a 76% discount on the site I keep open in a tab, which feels less like a sign to buy backups and more like a sign I should’ve bought backups already.
#3 — the one-purchase, no-regrets beauty product
Grabbed during a flash sale, 61% off, expected nothing, now can’t stop recommending it to people who did not ask.
#2 — the retro-leaning pieces that came out of nowhere
There’s a whole trend right now built around bringing back older silhouettes, satin, slip-style, the kind of thing that looks pulled from a closet decades ago on purpose. Didn’t think I’d fall for it. Fell for it completely.
#1 — the satin slip dress, no contest
This is the one. The exact one, actually, currently part of a flash sale that seems to rotate stock every few hours, which explains why it wasn’t there yesterday and might not be there tomorrow. Worn three times in two weeks, a personal record for anything that isn’t a t-shirt.
Total plays this season: more than I’m willing to admit. Skip rate: zero. (That’s an affiliate link on the dress, small commission for me, nothing extra for you, and no, I wasn’t paid to rank it first. It just won.)
